The European Space Agency (ESA) announced today that the Russian-European mission to the planet Mars (ExoMars) has been terminated and that it is looking for alternatives for four other missions due to the termination of cooperation with the Russian space agency Roskosmos.
The ExoMars mission is planned for September by sending a European rover to the red planet with the help of Russian launchers.
ESA's board has asked to launch a search for other ways to achieve ExoMars and other space missions.
