China launched the Long March 2D launch vehicle today to put a group of remote sensing satellites into space.
As the fifth batch of the Yaogan-35 family, the satellites were lifted off at 12.19:XNUMX p.m. Beijing time from the Xichang Satellite Launch Center in southwestern Sichuan province and entered a preset orbit, Xinhua reported.
They will mainly be used to conduct scientific experiments, land resource research, agricultural yield assessment, and disaster prevention and mitigation.
This mission is the 436th flight of the Long March carrier rocket.
