Equipment for automated signal reception from the Luča satellite was tested on Friday evening, the Montenegrin Amateur Radio Association announced.
They told the MINA agency that, in the communications vehicle at the Vranička Njiva location, they installed an antenna system and receiving equipment that will automatically track the orbit of the Luča satellite when it appears over Montenegro.
As they stated, once operational, the satellite will broadcast telemetry data, the level of cosmic radiation above Montenegro, as well as video slides from an altitude of about 600 kilometers.
