Župa Nikšićka: Asphalted road leading to the school, completed parking lot with 29 spaces

In Nikšić Župa, the local administration paved the road leading to the school, 280 meters long, and a parking lot with 29 spaces was built.

"This is not the only investment of the local administration in the Municipal Municipality of Župa, we have already invested a lot of effort and money in order to repair the traffic infrastructure. We repaired the landslide on the main road that connects Župa with the city and we continuously worked on the repair of important roads that connect the villages of this local community. We paved dozens of kilometers of local roads, and the new owner of the bauxite mine got involved in eliminating the biggest traffic problems," said the manager of the municipality Živko Kecojević, who together with the leadership of the local administration visited the mentioned MZ.

According to him, the well in Kuti has been completed, the construction of a chlorine station is to come, the contractor for the drilling of two wells in Morakovski Balace has been selected, and the water supply project for the residents of the village of Dučice has been completed.

The President of the Municipality of Nikšić, Veselin Grbović, promised more investments in the County, and he is especially pleased that production has started in the Bauxite Mines.

"This means that we expect more money from concessions. In the coming period, we will repair and asphalt some priority sections of roads in this area, and special attention will be devoted to solving the problem of water supply," Grbović said.

Local resident Nikola Bezmarević said that by last weekend, more than 20 kilometers of local roads had been filled, that most retaining walls on the main road had been repaired, as well as potholes, and that several homes in the villages had been renovated.

"It seems that the most important thing is that the company Uniprom Metali has started production in three mines with multimillion-dollar investments, and we hope that it will soon start in the others as well. This company has hired dozens of young people from this region, and I believe that new jobs will also be created , that we will have better and better living conditions, and that means that the inhabitants of Župli will not need to be displaced," Bezmarević is convinced.
