In the document of the Secretariat for Culture and Sport, the Program for the Development of Sports in the Capital City in the Period from 2015 to 2019, it is stated that by 2017, the east stand of the stadium under Gorica, sports halls in Tuzi and Zeta should be built.
Among the projects, which should be completed by 2017, is the construction of a martial arts hall at the Old Airport and the sports and recreation center "Tološka Šuma".
"According to the Strategy of the Capital City Development Plan 2012-2017, it is necessary to implement the mentioned projects in the period until 2017", it was pointed out in that document.
However, none of the mentioned projects has been completed yet.
The construction of the hall in Zeta began more than 15 years ago, the construction was completed, and the future hall was conserved, in order to preserve what has been done so far.
"The city municipality of Tuzi has potential for the development of sports, sports and recreational tourism. Since there are no adequate sports and recreational facilities, it is necessary to build a sports hall that would benefit both local teams and associations as well as for the preparation of athletes from other areas," the document states.
The Ministry of Education and Sports is listed as the project holder in Tuzi.
The hall for martial arts at the Old Airport should have a ground floor and an upper floor, an area of 2.080 square meters, and as it is written, the capacity would be 800 seats.
"The sports hall itself is on the ground floor, with an area of 1.067 m2, with telescopic bleachers. The project holder is the Secretariat for Culture and Sports, the Agency for Construction and Development of Podgorica and the company 'Sportski objekti'," the document says.
The sports and recreation center "Tološka šuma" should have an area of 2.200 square meters, as stated, on a location of 3.000 m2.
"It will contain a sports hall, a handball court, a children's playground for ages one to 14, tennis courts, a fitness room, swimming pools and water polo pools, a bowling alley, catering and auxiliary facilities," the program states.
The project holder is the Agency for Construction and Development of Podgorica and the company "Sportski objekti".
As pointed out in the program, there is a real expansion of the construction of ballrooms in the city, and these facilities have greatly complemented the sports infrastructure, but it was noticed during the inspection that a certain number do not meet safety and hygiene standards.
Feasibility study for the eastern tribune in eight months

"It is planned that within two months CREAM Montenegro PPP Alliance will provide a reputable company that has carried out similar projects. That company is obliged to prepare a detailed Feasibility Study within six months", the PG bureau announced.
