Jovana Todorović, a third-year student at the Academy of Fine Arts in Belgrade, was declared the best student from Paštrovac, according to the announcement.
The jury consisting of Mila Medigović Stefanović, Jelena Milašin Anđus and Bojan Suđić unanimously awarded Todorović the prize "Fine sand".
"In addition to the results achieved in her studies (grade 9,06), she is versatile and engaged in the wider cultural field, promoting her hometown - Paštrovići and Budva. Her native affiliation and dedication to artistic and educational work in the best way recommend her to act as a prominent student in class Professor Vida Ognjenović will be the winner of this Paštrović award. It is necessary to point out her role as secretary and member of the Board of Directors of the Association of Paštrović and friends of Paštrović "Fine Sand" in Belgrade. In addition to organizational and ongoing work in the Association, she is also involved in many organizational activities of cultural programs whose goal, in addition to the affirmation of her artistic class, is the popularization of the native culture of Petrovac, Paštrović and Budva. Her bibliography indicates a wide range of Jovana's interests and direct involvement in professional and artistic terms. We decided to award the award to Jovana Todorović, an acting student, a current and future cultural leader who will always participate in numerous cultural events in Petrovac na Moru, Budva and Belgrade. This motivated us to unanimously decide that she should receive the "Fine Sand" award of the Paštrović Association in Belgrade. The award will be presented to the nominee at this year's Paštrović dinner in Belgrade," the announcement states.
