Human Rights Action (HRA) and the Center for Women's and Peace Education have chosen six non-governmental organizations (NGOs) whose project activities will help implement the Action Plan for the Improvement of Occupational Therapy in the Special Hospital for Psychiatry in Kotor. The total budget for financing these projects is 38 thousand euros. According to HRA Executive Director Tea Gorjanc-Prelević, the projects of these NGOs will bring new energy to the Hospital, help the treatment and reintegration into society of patients with mental illnesses. "We also hope that the opening of the Hospital to the outside world will also contribute to a better understanding of mental illnesses and reduce the stigma towards patients who suffer or have suffered from this type of illness," Gorjanc-Prelević said. The competition was conducted as part of the project "Out of isolation - realizing the rights of patients with mental illnesses", and it was supported by the Delegation of the European Union.
