Students of the "Sergije Stanić" high school on Friday together with regional culinary stars

A gathering of students and professors of the School for Secondary and Higher Vocational Education "Sergije Stanić" from Podgorica and seven renowned executive chefs from the countries of the region will be held tomorrow at the "Regent Porto Montenegro" hotel.

The gathering will precede the conceptual gastronomic performance, "Game of Chefs" or "Meeting of Culinary Leaders", which will be held in "Regent" on Saturday, October 15.

Oltion Veshi from Albania, Nihad Mameledžija from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Ante Udovicic from Croatia, Jure Tomić from Slovenia, Filip Ćirić from Serbia and special guest Petra Jelenić, led by Željko Knezović - executive chef of the "Regent" hotel, will spend the afternoon today with professors and students of the school in Podgorica, who already traditionally practice at the "Regent" hotel.

"I am glad that young people who have chosen culinary arts as their vocation will have the opportunity to meet already well-known stars of the regional gastronomic scene." - said Željko Knezović, executive chef of the "Regent" hotel, on this occasion. Zoran Klikovac, director of the "Serjije Stanić" school, said that they were extremely honored by the opportunity for their students and several professors to meet regional culinary stars.

"We consider the gathering, organized on the eve of the culinary spectacle, as evidence of the partnership between the Regent Hotel and our institution. This partnership, which has been going on for two years, enables our students to acquire practical knowledge at the highest possible level. We believe that our cooperation will give birth to some of the leaders of the profession who will stand side by side with the existing stars in the future," said Klikovac.

By the way, the aim of the upcoming spectacular gastronomic event "Game of Chefs", which starts tomorrow in "Regent", is to profile the Balkans as a gastronomic destination.

Each of the famous chefs will create a gang that will reflect their country of origin, and a carefully selected wine from the same region will round off the act within the entire regional gastronomic symphony of 7 gangs

The "Regent" hotel team found inspiration for the organization of a quality culinary show in the diversity and closeness of the national cuisines of the region, the abundance of quality natural products and the fact that in the previous period, each of the national cuisines, under the direction of the aforementioned chefs - leaders, experienced a real culinary revolution with the application personal styles and current global culinary trends.
