As of today, the municipality of Tivat officially applies a modern way of communication between citizens and the local administration - System 48, which it developed in cooperation with the company "Digital Solution Montenegro" from Tivat. It is an information system with which citizens can easily report a communal problem and thus communicate with the service responsible for solving it.
The number 48 in the name of the system represents the number of hours, that is, the time frame within which the reported problem is solved or at least feedback on the status of its solution is received.
The period of 48 hours runs on working days from the moment the application is validated by the system administrator.
System 48 except via web applications, also works by sending an e-mail to the address tivat@sistem48.me, i.e. via the phone numbers +382 (0)32 661 361 and +382 (0)69 382 000, through which reporting of problems can also be done via SMS message, i.e. via Viber.
"The advantages of this system, in addition to simple reporting of utility problems, are multiple - in this way, the Municipality of Tivat encourages more efficient, responsible and transparent work of the competent services. This results in a more rational use of resources, easier control of the work of the competent services and better coordination of the work of the Municipality with the competent services. Through the application of System 48, we will create a valuable information database on the basis of which we can easily improve our operations, plan resources and create work programs. Ultimately, our main goal is a satisfied citizen", said Goran Božović, head of the Information Systems and Joint Affairs Department of the Municipality of Tivat, at the press conference where the work of System 48 was presented.
He added that the system, the introduction of which is also defined by the State Development Plan of Tivat until 2016, is a simple and useful tool for citizens to communicate with the local government in solving communal problems, and it gives the Municipality the opportunity to more efficiently use the resources of the Municipal Police, inspections, the Municipal Enterprise, Asylum for abandoned animals and Waterworks. According to Ivan Pajović from "Digital Solutions Montenegro", the Sistem 48 application in Tivat is fully adapted to work on mobile devices - smartphones, tablets, etc.
The system, which was introduced at the initiative of the local administration, was developed by a team of programmers led by a young Tiv resident, Andrej Karadžić, and has been operating in test mode for a month. Since yesterday, the system has been available to all users, and its popularization among citizens will be carried out by implementing a special promotional campaign through a banner with a link to the system, which will be placed on the website of the Municipality, Radio Tivat, the Tourist Organization and local JP and JU, and by sharing information - a flyer.
