On the occasion of the valuable jubilee - the tenth anniversary of the cooperation between the Scout Detachment "24 November" and the Montenegrin-Frankish Friendship Society "FRAMOG" from the German city of Nuremberg, the president of this Montenegrin-German association, Ljubo Dabović, presented the Bar Detachment with the first part of a donation of 2.500 euros. The donor activity, as he said, lasts until the end of this year, and it is carried out "as a sign of support, in order to strengthen the capacities of the detachment".
Dabović, who was born in Baran, expressed his special satisfaction that "on the 24th novembar" cooperates with organizations that care for the population of people with disabilities.
The handover of the donation took place at a reception held by the President of the Municipality of Bar, Dr. Zoran Srzentić, who received Dabović and the head of the ,,24 detachment. November" by Miodrag-Tanja Masoničić.
"We must intensify the cooperation between Bar and Nuremberg in the future and make it stronger and more current. Thank you to Ljub Dabović for his involvement so far, which is of great importance for Bar," said Dr. Srzentić on that occasion.
Masoničić reminded that the cooperation between the detachment and FRAMOG started in 2006 during the visit of the management of this association to Bar. After discussing the models of cooperation "24. November" and scouts from Franačka, Dabović was engaged in quick implementation, so 60 scouts from the German detachment "Sveti Đorđe" spent their vacation in Bar renovating Elementary School "Srbija" in Stari Bar.
"Since then, our association has grown into a true friendship, we have continued various joint projects, our scouts were guests of the scouts of Bavaria, which we also hosted," Masoničić added.
In honor of the jubilee and as a sign of gratitude for the donation, Masoničić presented FRAMOG with the "Clean Side of Life" plaque, the highest recognition of the Bar squad, which had previously been awarded to the city of Nuremberg and Ljubo Dabović personally.
