The Director General of the Ministry of Education Ognjen Jovović said that the ranking list of candidates for admission to the first year of study at the Faculty of Fine Arts is irregular.
"Namely, the educational inspectorate responded to the request of the former general director of the Ministry of Education, Prof. Tatjana Đurišić-Bečanović, Ph.D., and noted irregularities in the ranking list of candidates for admission to the first year of studies. The irregularities refer to the fact that the Admissions Committee gave itself the right to decide on candidate Marija Marković's objection to Ranking List I. The Admissions Committee should have forwarded the objection to the Central Admissions Committee in accordance with Article 14, Paragraphs 3, 4, 5 and 6 of the Rulebook on Enrollment, Criteria and Enrollment Procedures for Undergraduate Studies at the University of Montenegro. , the educational inspector determined that the members of the Examination Committee were also members of the Admissions Committee, which contradicts the Rulebook. It is additionally worrying that the first in the Ranking List I Petrović Poljak Sara enrolled in FLU studies already in June 2014, having passed all the exams from the first year of the Painting study program, and then interrupted her studies, in order to apply again in June 2016 for enrollment in the first year, which is illegal. The competition is conducted in accordance with Art. 93 of the Law on Higher Education and Art. 3 of the Regulations, which clearly indicate that it is about enrolling high school graduates in the first year of basic studies. Bearing in mind that Sara Petrović Poljak has already applied once (study year 2014/2015), therefore she cannot acquire and use the status of budget student of the first year of study for a second time, but this ranking list is completely meaningless, so it can be said that it is about the private ranking," said Jovovic.
Jovoić added that the best proof of this is the case of candidate Marija Marković, who applied for admission to the first year of FLU as the best student of the "Petar Lubarda" High School of Fine Arts and as a prize winner in competitions.
"The success she brought from high school was almost ignored. On the entrance exam, which consists of three parts: a test of general culture, drawing a figure based on a living model and painting a still life, using the elimination system, Marija Marković did not receive a grade in one subject. In fact , the Commission selected the papers of those candidates that it took into account according to its very strange selection criteria, while excluding the other papers from consideration. Therefore, there is no record or other note from the exam that would show the individual teacher's evaluations by parts of the exam and performance medium marks from the submitted map of "Drawing" and "Painting" works. This completely discriminated the candidate Marija Marković. The educational inspector took these arguments into account and ordered a repetition of the competition, which was ignored by the dean of FLU, assistant professor Milena Jovićević, Ph.D., he said. is Jovovic.
He added that if the ranking list for admission to the first year of studies at FLU is not harmonized with the Rulebook on admission, criteria and procedure for admission to undergraduate studies at the University of Montenegro as soon as possible and before the start of the lectures, he will initiate a criminal complaint against the dean to the Ministry of Education.
