In the future, the information point on the Tivat salt marshes will receive electricity from renewable sources, namely the sun, which has created the basic conditions for work in that facility, announced the Center for the Protection and Study of Birds (CZIP), which provided the panels in cooperation with a German organization. Euronatur and through the support of the Delegation of the European Union in Montenegro.
Morsko dobro previously arranged this area, fences, small furniture, bridges, and an info desk were installed.
The CZIP reminds that visitors to Solili have been able to use the services of a professional guide since February, with free entry.
"The promotion of this Ramsar wetland habitat of international importance and an important area for birds (IBA) was done through the creation of the mobile application 'Tivatska solila' and the engagement of the Tivat Tourism Organization. "Thanks to the organized visits of students, the involvement of travel agencies and bloggers who promoted this locality outside the borders of Montenegro, over 500 tourists used the services of guides in the first six months," said the CZIP.
In order to improve the offer at that location, the company Adriatic Marinas - Porto Montenegro donated a few months ago the most modern optics for bird watching - binoculars and two binoculars.
