The data from the questionnaire about the students exclusively serve as socio-economic elements in the formation of classes in accordance with pedagogical and psychological standards and are not misused, the Ministry of Education said.
"In the educational system, all students in educational institutions are continuously and devotedly cared for, and the data from the questionnaires only serve as socio-economic elements in the formation of classes in accordance with pedagogical and psychological standards and they are not misused," the Ministry's response states.
It is clarified that, according to the work program of professional associates, pedagogues and psychologists structure first-grade classes in such a way that all pedagogical and psychological criteria are met in order for all classes to have an approximately balanced structure (gender, educational status of parents, results that children showed during testing, left-handedness, etc.).
"In doing so, data obtained in a conversation with the parent/guardian of the child or through a questionnaire is used, which falls within the professional autonomy of pedagogues and psychologists in accordance with pedagogical and psychological theory and practice," the Ministry points out.
These data, as they stated, refer to the state of health, socialization, cognitive and emotional maturity as important prerequisites for establishing the best pedagogical relationship with the student.
According to the Ministry, the specificity of the family environment is important for the pedagogical approach to each child, which is particularly conducive to the sensibility of children from incomplete families and their adaptation to school.
As they add, questionnaires of this type have been used by pedagogical and psychological services in schools for years and the data obtained in this way are confidential.
"Therefore, your claims that the data from the questionnaire are misused are untrue and malicious, because, for example, the data on the financial security of the family are only used to exercise the right to free textbooks," said the Ministry.
They said that the implementation of the educational process, in addition to the professional competences of educators, also implies a keen sensitivity to the individual needs of students and their family environment, which the CGE is also aware of, but, as they point out, they consciously ignore.
"You ignore everything that has a humane character, and this always happens when the elections are approaching, so your intention to politicize a common school procedure is obvious," the Ministry concluded.
