The detailed urban plan of "Vranićka njiva" will be done by the company "Ing invest" from Danilovgrad without compensation.
In the contract signed by the director of the Agency for Construction and Development of Podgorica Srđan Raičević and the director of "Ing invest" Ilija Radulović, it is stated that this company will perform the aforementioned services within 70 days from the conclusion of the contract.
In March, the Agency for Construction and Development of the Capital City announced a tender for the preparation of the DUP "Vranićka njiva" and the preparation of a strategic environmental impact assessment.
15.000 euros were allocated for the preparation of the DUP, and 1.000 euros for the preparation of the strategic study.
The strategic study will be done by the Institute for Development and Research in the Field of Occupational Safety, for 892 euros.
The "Vranićka njiva" plan covers, as stated, an area of about 26,5 hectares.
The guidelines for the development of the Plan, as stated in the document, are contained in the Spatial-Urban Plan of Podgorica (PUP), which plans the uses for this area - low-density housing, mixed use and forest areas.
"In the PUP, it is emphasized... that during the preparation of the DUP of "Vranićka njiva", special attention should be focused on mixed-use planning," the document states.
In the Decision on the preparation of the DUP, which was adopted by the mayor Slavoljub Stijepović, it was stated that the funds for the preparation of the DUP "Vranićka njiva" will be provided by the Rogami local community as the applicant of the initiative, before the conclusion of the contract on the preparation of the planning document, between the Agency for Construction and the development and processing of amendments to the Plan.
