The delegation of the Socialist People's Party (SNP), led by SNP Vice-President and SNP Podgorica Board President Dragan Ivanović, laid a wreath today, on the occasion of the Podgorica Liberation Day, at the Partizan Fighter Monument in Gorica, in memory of the patriots who gave their lives for freedom, it was announced from that party.
SNP, laying wreaths"As in previous years, the delegation of the SNP laid the wreath together with the delegation of SOBNOR of Montenegro," the announcement states.
From that party, they added that they continue to affirm the value of anti-fascism, and thus the importance of Montenegro as a civil state and that of traditional, primordial Montenegro, whose ideals were freedom and solidarity.
"Our ancestors who gave their lives for our today and our tomorrow deserve to be remembered with special gratitude. We, as their descendants, must continue to nurture anti-fascism because we are part of Europe and the civilized, democratic world," said the SNP.
