The use of the control-measuring tower on Dajbab hill for tourist purposes will certainly increase the offer of Podgorica for another quality tourist content, which will benefit not only citizens, but also its visitors, and expand the number of recognizable tourist spots in our city, said Slavoljub Stijepović. the mayor of the Capital City, on the occasion of the signed agreement with the Agency for Electronic Communications and Postal Services.
The Agency for Electronic Communications and Postal Services, the Tourism Organization of the Capital City of Podgorica, the NGO Urban Kids and the informal Citizens' Group of Zabjela and Dahne signed an Agreement on Cooperation today, with the aim of better valorizing the Tower and putting it into tourist use.
"It is a wonderful location, a lookout point, from which you can enjoy a panoramic view of the city, from Lake Skadar, Plantaža vineyards, bridges on Morača, the source of Mareza and beyond. With the additional arrangement and installation of the telescope, this space will be the first of its kind, unique in Podgorica, and take on a tourist-excursion character," she pointed out.rector of TO Podgorica, Tatjana Popović.
"This kind of initiative and cooperation makes us extremely happy, especially in terms of improving the living conditions and development of this local community, which the Agency pays special attention to and represents one of the missions of our existence and business," he said.executive director of the Agency for Electronic Communications and Postal Activities, Zoran Sekulić.
Marina Vujović, executive director of the NGO Urban kids and Nađa Ljiljanić, representative of the citizens' group of Zabjela and Dahne, pointed out that this project will be a big deal for the local community, and tourism in general will give Tornje the place it deserves, and they hope for the involvement of all citizens.
"We are especially happy that our children will have a new place to gather, to see the city through a telescope, and that the area around the tower will be refined. Children should be taught to love their city, and we will do our best to brighten up their view of it", concluded Vujović and Ljiljanić.
The NGO Urban Kids and the informal group of citizens of Zabjelo and Dahna launched an initiative to arrange the plateau and the area around Tornje for tourist and excursion purposes, along with educational content.
