Today, representatives of Rosa voda presented the Institute of Children's Diseases with a plastic sterilizer worth 5.000 euros.
They also donated 5.000 for the purchase of furniture for 14 rooms at the Children's Surgery.
The donation completed the fourth national campaign "Support life", which lasted from last December to the end of February this year.
Acting director of the Institute for Children's Diseases, Sonja Milašinović, said that sterilization should be the strongest link in the chain of labor safety in neonatology.
"The sterilizer is an important and indispensable part of the equipment in our institution, because by using it we influence the preservation of the health of babies, protecting them from various infectious agents with which they may come into contact through the instruments used during feeding, care and treatment," explained Milašinović at press conference.
In the previous year, as she stated, 4956 children were treated at the Institute, of which 652 were at the Center for Neonatology.
"The excellently designed Rosa voda campaign reminded us once again what is the greatest value and joy of our lives. These are our children," Milašinović said.
Director of Sales at Coca-Cola Hellenic Montenegro, Nikola Tripković said that the "Support Life" campaign is becoming one of the most recognizable initiatives in the local community.
"Our campaign aims to support the development of Montenegrin neonatology, in order to create the best conditions for the treatment of babies and children together," said Tripković.
In that company, as he stated, they are satisfied with the cooperation with the Ministry of Health and other partners.
Tripković reminded that, thanks to that project, in previous years, incubators were donated to the General Hospitals in Nikšić and Berane, the "Danilo I" Hospital in Cetinje and the Health Center in Kolašin.
He announced that furniture for 14 rooms at the Children's Surgery in Podgorica will be donated.
Director General of the Directorate for Bioethics and International Cooperation in the Ministry of Health, Mira Jovanovski Dašić, said that the department became the sponsor of the project with a Memorandum of Cooperation signed in 2013.
"Rosa voda, with its support of Montenegrin neonatology, which exceeds EUR 90, has set high standards of social responsibility and set an example of how a private-public partnership can remain a strong positive impression on society," said Jovanovski Dašić, adding that she hopes that cooperation to continue.
