A "Vijesti" reader sent photos of cars parked on the green in the courtyard side of the buildings at the corner of St. Peter Cetinjsko Boulevard and Moskovska Street. Apart from the mentioned location, similar situations can be seen everywhere in the city.
Although the Decision on landscaping and maintenance of green areas prohibits the parking of vehicles on public green areas, it seems that the people of Podgorica have not changed their habits.
Communal inspectors are responsible for compliance with the provisions of this decision.
In accordance with this decision, a legal entity that acts contrary to this prohibition can be fined from 150 to 10.000 euros, and the responsible person can be fined from 20 to 1.000 euros. Entrepreneurs can also be fined from 50 to 3.000 euros.
