Action for Human Rights (HRA) will participate in the Women's March in Podgorica, which is organized by the Center for Women's and Peace Education (ANIMA) and the Center for Women's Rights tomorrow on the occasion of March 8, International Women's Day.
"We are looking for the realization of women's prescribed rights, instead of carnations! Tomorrow we will support all women who are not allowed to get an education, to work, to engage in politics, to make decisions, to equally manage the household budget, who suffer violence, blackmail and pressure, who are paid less than men for the same work, who are exploited in inhumane working conditions or cannot be employed equally if they are married and have children or plan to have children," the HRA statement states.
They call for opposition to discrimination against women, violence against women and measures that discourage employers from hiring expectant mothers.
"See you on the Square!", said HRA.
