Of the four new directors appointed by Minister Budimir Šegrt, three are members of DPS, while the new head of the Cetinje Hospital, Dragan Vujović, is not officially in the party bodies of any party.
In accordance with the new Law on Health Care, the day before yesterday, Šegrt appointed 24 directors of health institutions, 18 of whom are in DPS.
One of them is officially a member of the SDP, yesterday's coalition partner of the DPS.
After the appointment, Šegrt's department announced that "professional, professional and moral qualities of the registered candidates, with the best program of work and development of health institutions, in the interest of citizens, were the decisive criteria for the selection of the director".
Šegrt has previously stated on several occasions that the goal of the change in the law, according to which directors are no longer appointed by management boards, is the "depoliticization of management structures" in health care.
When asked by "Vijesti" whether it is time for non-party figures to become directors, he previously replied that "the bottom line is that they are of good quality" and that he "doesn't know if there are any non-party figures today".
The new director of the Bjelopolje Health Center, Majda Dobardžić, is a member of the DPS, and in 2011 she was also a candidate for the President of the Municipality.
She replaced Adnan Striković, who is a member of the SDP, in that position.
The apprentice appointed DPS member Mileta Goločevac, who replaced his party colleague Zoran Tabaš, as the new director of the Pljeval Hospital.
Dragoslav Tomanović, also a member of the DPS, was appointed as the new director of the Bar Hospital. Before him, Branka Milović, who is not officially a member of any political party, held the position of acting official.
Director of the Cetinje Hospital, Dragan Vujović, replaced Dr. Ivan Gazivoda (SDP) in that position.
In addition to the three new ones, the ruling party also includes the directors of health centers Nebojsa Kavarić (Podgorica), Zvonko Vuković (Andrijevica), Borislav Lalević (Bar), Zoran Špadijer (Budva), Nenad Vušurović (Cetinje), Dragica Popović (Kolašin), Ikonija Minić (Mojkovac), Hajran Kalač (Rožaje), Snežana Matijević (Tivat), Pavle Marniković (Ulcinj), director of the Brezovik Special Hospital Gordana Reljić, director of Nikšić Hospital Ilija Ašanin and Biserka Bulatović of Bielsko-Biała.
Veselin Bulatović, director of the Nikšić Health Center, is also a member of that party, who has not been a member of the party's bodies in recent years.
The director of the Beran Health Center, Zuhra Hadrović, previously told "Vijesta" that, although she is not politically active, she is committed to the DPS.
The director of the Kotor Hospital, Ivan Ilić, who has been in that position since August last year, is a member of the SDP and replaced Edita Starović (DPS) in that position.
The director of the Health Center in Plav, a member of the Bosniak Party, Omer Šahmanović, was re-elected after replacing Sabina Markišić (SDP) last year.
For the director of the Health Center in Danilovgrad, Dejan Mandić, the special hospital in Risno, Milić Jauković, and the Institute for Blood Transfusion, Gordana Rašović, there is no information that they are active in the party. AK
