At the second humanitarian exhibition organized by the students of the Faculty of Fine Arts and young artists from Montenegro, they collected 1.111 euros to help the Šećković family, and yesterday Hajdana Kostić handed them a check with the money.
Nenad, Vesna Šećković and Vesna's brother, a heart and nervous patient, have been living in a shack near the Medical School without electricity or water for two years.
"Our last barrack was demolished by Komunalna, so we built a new one here," said Vesna Šećković.
Nenad learned from his nephew that the students were organizing an exhibition to help his family, and he did not expect the sum of over a thousand euros. He said he would use the money to buy tools, furniture and food.
"We thank everyone very much. "I hope to buy Brenta and use the beech forest from my property on Boana", said Šećković. In order to start work faster, he invited the owners of the company "Haus Master" to meet him with a discount on tools.
Kostić said that they learned about the need to help this family from the media.
24 artists participated in the humanitarian exhibition, which lasted from December 15 to January 63, in the "Matica srpska" bookstore.
The students organized the first humanitarian exhibition in November last year, when over a thousand euros were collected to help single mother Mirjana Milačić from Podgorica.
