The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, in cooperation with the Hungarian Embassy in Montenegro and the Government of Hungary, provided the opportunity to educate Montenegrin students and farmers.
As announced by that department, several scholarships have been provided for education in Hungary, especially in the field of veterinary medicine.
"Additionally, through FAO scholarships, the conditions are created for Montenegrin students of agricultural sciences to get a chance to improve their skills at faculties in Hungary and to apply the acquired knowledge in Montenegrin agriculture," says the announcement.
The Ministry invited all young people who are interested in master's studies in the field of agriculture for the academic year 2016/17 to learn more about the study program.

Scholarships, as explained, are awarded for studies in English, in the fields of agricultural sciences, agricultural biotechnology, horticulture, animal nutrition and food safety.
"The programs will be implemented at the Faculty of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences, Faculty of Horticultural Sciences of the University of St. "Istvan in Budapest and the Faculty of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences of Kaposvar University," the Ministry stated.
As they said, the program of those studies is realized in English, and will be initiated only if a sufficient number of candidates are registered, starting from September 2016.
"Scholarships include registration and tuition fees during the course of study, basic books, accommodation in a student dormitory and living expenses, and will be financed by the Government of Hungary, in accordance with the Agreement signed with FAO in 2007. Scholarship winners will be covered by the same health insurance that Hungarian students have, during the duration of this scholarship program," the Ministry specified.
The announcement states that in recent years, the Ministry has paid special attention to the education and training of young people in the field of agriculture, as well as opening up opportunities for them to improve their acquired knowledge at foreign faculties, institutes and laboratories, through international cooperation.
"Agriculture is an area that has potential for entrepreneurship and employment. That is why it is important that young people recognize the opportunities for education in that sector and support in that direction", according to the Ministry.
