Over half a meter of snow in the city part of the Kolašin municipality caused, according to the Kolašin Communal Enterprise, almost continuous operation of machinery during the past 24 hours.
City, suburban and traffic roads to most nearby villages were cleaned several times.
"Today we are heading towards Šljivovica, Klačina and Drpa, Trebaljevo... The terrain in Drpa is very difficult, but I hope that the highway system will succeed in clearing that road as well. Since yesterday morning we had only two hours of rest, it was necessary to be constantly present on the field. I hope that the fellow citizens are satisfied, that our efforts paid off and that we did our job well," said the director of Komunalno Milivoje Bulatović.
He announced that the mechanization of that company will start heading towards the remote villages of Rovač from tomorrow.
Since yesterday, the sidewalks in Kolašin have been cleaned with a special machine that removes snow from smaller areas.
It can be seen that in the past few days, the workers of Komunal have been diligently cleaning several staircases in the city.
