Asmir Hasović, a member of the Bosniak Party (BS), was appointed as the director of the elementary school "Donja Lovnica" in Rožaje.
This continued the implementation of the annex to the contract signed on November 28 last year by the political director of the DPS, Tarzan Milošević, and the vice-president of the BS, Osman Nurković.
Hasović previously worked as a classroom teacher at Elementary School "Bratstvo jedinstvo" in Skerepača. He has a bachelor's degree and is said to be the first director of an educational institution in Rožaje with that level of education. Zehra Kalač, the daughter-in-law of BS MP Almer Kalač, was hired in Hasović's previous position.
According to the "Vijesti" source, she started working on November 30, without a previously announced competition.
"Such an order came from above. Currently, she has received a decision for a month, after which a competition will be announced," the school told "Vijesti".
The Ministry of Education announced that the General Law on Education stipulates that teachers are hired on the basis of a public competition announced by the school director.
"He decides on the rights and obligations of employees and selects teachers, professional associates and other employees in the institution. This is how Zehra Kalač was employed. The Ministry of Education is not responsible for the selection of employees...".
The annex to the DPS and BS contract stipulates that the smaller coalition partner will be provided with nine director positions and six assistant positions in schools, which "Vijesti" previously wrote about. It was also agreed that the staff of the BS will cover numerous other functions in public companies and institutions at all levels.
