Yesterday, the State Commission for the Control of the Public Procurement Procedure did not consider the appeal against the annual tender of "Montefarma" for the procurement of medicines, as expected by the Minister of Health, Budimir Šegrt.

The Acting President of the Commission, Tomo Miljić, said that the ministers will not determine when they will sit.

At the end of last week, Šegrt announced to "Vijesti" that the State Commission will decide on the appeal on the tender for the procurement of medicines, worth 15,77 million euros, on Monday.

"How do the ministers know when we will discuss it? Ministers will not schedule state commission sessions for us. I can only tell you that the next session is on Thursday and that no decision will be known before Friday," Miljić told "Vijesti" yesterday.

Šegrt, announcing that he would not comment on the appeal of the ADOC company from Belgrade on the tender documentation, announced that "on Monday, the State Commission for the Control of the Public Procurement Procedure will decide on their appeal".

According to the unofficial information of "Vijesti", the representatives of the Ministry of Finance were also interested in when the State Commission will decide on the appeal against the "Montefarma" tender.

The planned opening of bids for the annual procurement of drugs, organized by the state pharmacy institution "Montefarm", was halted at the beginning of last week, due to suspicions that there were privileged companies during the preparation of the tender documents in October.

Although it is mainly about medicines that citizens get on prescription, the authorities said that there will be no shortage in pharmacies.
