New construction plans at TQ Plaza: In the midst of an investigation, they are worried about the jacuzzi

The Construction Directorate declared itself incompetent to issue urban-technical conditions to the Tradeunique company, which planned to build a "large jacuzzi tub with water loungers" on the second floor of TQ Plaza in Budva.

That sector of the Ministry of Sustainable Development forwarded the company's request to the municipal Secretariat for Urban Planning.

In the letter from Trade unique, it is written that they need a permit for the reconstruction of the lantern on the terrace of the second floor of lamella A".

"In the same place, they would dismantle the existing steel structure with glass and replace it with new mounting supports, which they would adequately close and place a jacuzzi tub with water loungers on them," according to the letter that was forwarded from the Ministry to the local secretariat.

The procedure for obtaining construction papers was initiated in the midst of the prosecutor's investigation, which is being conducted against 13 municipal officials in connection with alleged embezzlement regarding the construction and redistribution of commercial and residential spaces within TQ Plaza.

It was a joint project between the Municipality and the Tradeunuque company.

Lamela A, which the owners of the luxury complex are hurriedly converting into a hotel, is under the "paw" of the High Court.

They imposed a ban on the disposal of that property due to the prosecutor's investigation into the alleged embezzlement of as much as 20 million euros, which is believed to have been damaged by the Municipality of Budva during the construction of the complex.

In the cadastral records of the Real Estate Administration, almost 30.000 square meters were registered with a temporary measure of prohibition of disposal until the end of the process, due to the suspicion that "apartments of certain municipal officials are hidden among the squares".

A large part of the TQ Plaza complex is registered with the Municipality of Budva.
