The street in Masline has been dug up, but there are no workers

The construction of the atmospheric sewage system in Đulje Jovanova Street in Masline, from the Ivanovic waste car park to the former barracks in that neighborhood, was stopped, and that road remained unearthed. The works started in the middle of August, and the company "Vodovod i kanalizacija" claims that they stopped them because they need to build an atmospheric one in the part of Iveza Vukova Street.

The technical director of the company, Filip Makrid, said that many residents of Ulica Iveza Vukova submitted requests for the construction of storm sewers, which is why they met them. He pointed out that they have stopped the works in Đulje Jovanova Street, until they have done the measurements and the financial assessment of the sewerage extension. Citizens claim that there have been no workers in Đulje Jovanova Street for almost two weeks, which is why the residents of Murtovina, Maslina and Ibricevina have to cycle to the city. "Vijesti" reporters did not see the workers in that street yesterday. Makrid said that by the end of next week, he will finish the construction of the sewer system in Đulje Jovanova Street, after which he will start connecting and restoring the street to its original state. He pointed out that during the next week, he will also start construction in Iveze Vukova Street. He claims that residents of other streets also addressed them with requests.

"We also received requests from the residents of Valtazar Bogišića and Vojvoda Vasa Bracanova streets, due to technical conditions we could not meet them. We hope that in the future they will organize and collect part of the money for construction, and we will be happy to help them", said Makrid.
