Responders from the Municipality of Rožaje: The driver was traveling to Peć

From the Municipality of Rožaje, they responded to the text published in the "News" on September 19, 09 in the "News" under the title "For pepper to Pec by official vehicle".

The Municipality claims that the wife of the President of the Municipality of Rožaja, Mr. Ejup Nurković, was at the market in Peja (Kosovo) with an official car "Audi A4" with license plate RO-AC 001, which was reported by unnamed eyewitnesses.

"It is true that the official driver of the President's office, Mr. Kuč Ahmedin, according to the order for the use of the official vehicle of the president of the municipality (No. 77, dated September 15, 09), went to Peć on his own to hand over the project documentation for the project that the municipality of Rožaje applied for European Union funds within the first call for projects of the IPA cross-border cooperation program between Montenegro and Kosovo. Returning to Rožaje, Mr. Kuč stopped at a nearby market and continued his journey back. The confirmation that the official vehicle and fuel were not used for other purposes is also the mileage entered after each official trip, which agrees with the regular records kept in the municipal administrative bodies," the response reads.

"The President of the Municipality of Rožaje, Mr. Ejup Nurković has decided to file a report for defamation and lies against Aida Skorupan, in the court in Rožaje", it was announced, among other things, in a response from the office of the President of the Municipality of Rpožaje.
