Today in Tivat, the premier edition of the event "Superyacht Rendezvous Montenegro" began with a trip by sea to the bay of Žanjica and a festive lunch in the elite restaurant "Ribarsko selo".
Eight ships with a total value of over 200 million euros and about a hundred guests on board took part in this meeting of superyachts and their ultra-rich owners. They partied at a prosecco-cocktail party on pier one of Porto Montenegro under the moorings of their floating palaces - the 50-meter Exuma, the 47-meter Lady Petra, the 147-meter Logica 45 and the 41-meter Reve D'or. meters, 38-meter yachts "Komokwa" and "Infatuation", 35-meter "Alyssa" and XNUMX-meter "Stella Fiera".
"Superyacht Rendezvous" is organized by the famous media group dedicated to the yachting industry - "Boat International Media" in cooperation with the company "Adriatic Marinas". So far, "Boat International" has been organizing this big festival for all "who mean something" in the world superyacht industry for more than 20 years in Monaco, and now it is moving from the fashionable principality on the Cote d'Azur to Montenegro.
"Marinas and destinations in the Western Mediterranean are overcrowded and slowly losing their charm. In contrast, here they can again experience and rediscover what attracted them to yachting many years ago in Western Europe – discretion, beautiful surroundings and direct contact with the sea and nature. Our clients' first impressions of Boka and Montenegro are fantastic – a beautiful place, calm, warm and clean sea, great food and wine, an interesting country with a layered and rich culture and the world-class Porto Montenegro marina. This is a new destination where we hope, in the coming years, to organize a whole range of similar events for superyacht owners who want to discover attractive new places, stay in them and explore them in full comfort and safety, and socialize in common activities that sooner or later, they wouldn't have had it on their own", said the director of the company "Boat International Media" Toni Harris.
The fact that among the yachts participating in the "Superyacht Rendezvous Montenegro" event there are a couple of them that already have their home port in Porto Montenegro, the executive director of "Adriatic Marinas" Oliver Corlette perceives as a confirmation of the success of the strategy of the Tivat Nautical Center and Montenegro to impose themselves on wealthy yachtsmen as a destination where they will keep their ships during most of the year.
"That work is not finished yet because we still have to work to attract as many yachts as large as possible to have their home port here. Precisely through such prestigious events, we provide their owners with a first-hand insight into all the advantages that Montenegro and Porto Montenegro offer as a growing elite yachting destination in this part of the world," Corlette pointed out, adding that the Tivat marina has as many as 460 berths for ships this summer. from 10 to 180 meters long and with a whole range of new catering, service and other contents.
Among the sponsors of the "Superyacht Rendezvous Montenegro" event are the American luxury jewelry brand "Misahara", the Italian yacht and speedboat shipyard "Cantiere Savona", the Turkish yacht manufacturer "Tansu", the Trieste Chamber of Commerce and the Brazilian aircraft manufacturer "Embraer".
