Students of the Faculty of Pharmacy from Podgorica will have the opportunity in the coming period to get acquainted with another branch of industry in which they can find employment, thanks to the cooperation that this university unit has established with the largest distribution company in Montenegro - Neregelia from Podgorica.
The goal of this cooperation is to open up new perspectives for pharmacy students. The agreement on business cooperation was signed by Acting Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy Refik Zejnilović and Ljilja Pižurica, executive director of Neregelia.
"The Faculty of Pharmacy aims to educate and improve staff, constantly raise the level of the pharmaceutical profession and create a good scientific base in this field. I believe that cooperation with the Neregelia company will help achieve this goal," said the Acting Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Prof. Dr. Refik Zejnilović.
Executive Director of Neregelia Ljilja Pižurica stated that Neregelia constantly strives to show young generations all their possibilities. "In previous years, we also cooperated with faculties in this way, and now we are happy to have the opportunity to bring to the students of the Faculty of Pharmacy an entire branch of the industry, perhaps less known to them, related to the trade and marketing of pharmaceutical products. I believe that during the lectures and practice, we will be able to interest the students of this Faculty in finding their future by finding employment in our sector as well", said Pižurica.
Asst. Dr. Zorica Potpara from the Faculty of Pharmacy believes that cooperation is in the best interest of the students, who will get to know practice that way. "The plan and program of our Faculty is designed so that every student, in addition to theory, must also become familiar with practice during their studies. During the tenth semester at the Faculty, students visit a large number of institutions and establishments where they can work, and as part of this cooperation, they will also get to know the systems of storage and procurement of medicines", said Potpara.
Neregelia's representatives will introduce students to trade and marketing of pharmaceutical products through professional lectures at the Faculty of Pharmacy and internships in the company. The agreement on business cooperation includes joint proposals aimed at improving practical teaching, work on joint research projects, and the exchange of knowledge and skills in order to raise the quality of work.
