The owner of the office space in the building on the corner of Ulica slobode and Vuk Karadzic, Nikola Đokić, says that he cannot sell it, because the reconstruction at the entrance number 16 is late, and there has been scaffolding with a curtain for more than a year.
"I haven't seen a worker on the construction site for a month, and the investors tell me that everything will be finished in 15 days. I would understand if it is somewhere else, but this mockery is in the center of the city," said Đokić.
According to several tenants, the information board was removed from the front part of the building and taken from the other side to the yard, so that no one would see it.
The "Vijesti" journalist found a board at that place, and it says that the completion of the work should have been in December 2014. The board is at the foot of the scaffolding, and the place where it says deadline is hidden by concrete blocks.
The reconstruction of that entrance began in March 2014.
On the board it is written that the contractors are lawyers Novica Jovović, Vanja Mugoša, Vlado Vuković and the Assembly of apartment owners of apartment building number 16.
The project for the building was done by "Adria invest" from Budva, while the contractor is "Kroling" from Danilovgrad.
Attorney Mugoš told "Vijesta" that there are no tenants in the building at the moment, and for everyone who is bothered by the unfinished works, "let it bother you a little longer".
"The legal term for the completion of the works is three years, and the board is only there for information purposes, so everything is done within the legal framework," said Mugoša. When asked when the reconstruction will be finished, Mugoša answered briefly: "It will be finished".
