In the north of Montenegro, social unrest is possible if Germany returns thousands of Montenegrin citizens who have requested asylum in that country, warns the NGO Euromost after talks with emigrants at the reception center in Brausvaing.
The announcement states that the citizens who moved out of the north of Montenegro are angry with the government because, as they believe, it left them hungry, their children without the possibility to survive and canceled everything for them.
They sent a message that it would not be good if the German authorities returned them to their homeland, while they told government representatives, some municipal presidents and politicians not to think of visiting them in Germany because, as they said, they are better off under tents than in their own country. to the state.
The emigrants told Euromost that their children now have something to eat, they have health care and "everything that a person could have in a normal country, while in our country, all of that was taken away from them".
Euromost believes that the authorities should immediately prepare a strategy to help all citizens in the event that the German authorities return them to Montenegro.
This NGO claims that the authorities at the state and local level are not yet taking the situation seriously and that both may have big problems tomorrow.
Euromost invited the MPs to discuss this problem in the Parliament, and the Parliamentary Committee for Health, Labor and Social Welfare to adopt amendments to the law on child protection, through which the child allowance "which used to be received by all children but it was illegally revoked".
The statement also criticized the work of UNICEF. The people from Euromost do not understand why UNICEF is "silent and talking about the All in Fun Centers action while thousands of children in the north are at risk and because of that they go to other countries, they don't have food and they don't go to fun centers".
