Bar: The principal of Yugoslavia Elementary School is bothered by trade unionists

The Municipal Committee of the Bar Education Union (OOSP) yesterday condemned the action of the director of Elementary School "Yugoslavia", Lidija Raković, who, as stated in a letter sent to the media, filed a complaint with the Bar police and initiated disciplinary proceedings against the president of the OOSP, Mić Baltić, "due to the attitude expressed at the school's Teachers' Conference council".

"For Mrs. Raković, the attitude of Mr. Baltić, contrary to her opinion, is sufficient to initiate such proceedings, with the explanation that a colleague interrupted her presentation and that he accused her of discriminating and mobbing her colleague Rada Višnjić, who works at the same school, and that after that he left with 43 collective members and left the session. Colleague Višnjić has indeed filed a mobbing report against Mrs. Raković to the competent authority, because for three years she has refused to return her to work from the regional department to her home school, even though there is a recommendation for this by a committee in the Ministry, which Mrs. Raković does not recognize as valid," it is stated. in the announcement of OOSP.

In addition to seeking protection from such qualifications of school principals, the OOSP pointed out that such a procedure is employer pressure on the Education Union "and an attempt to discipline those who have the opposite opinion". They asked the Ministry of Education to condemn such a procedure, to confirm that it was an isolated procedure by an individual and that the "Ministry has nothing to do" with this procedure.

"Colleague Baltić was supported by the members of all active members in the school and with their signatures requested the urgent appointment of the Teachers' Council, which would condemn this procedure. The director has already punished dissenters several times, and the competent inspection has always annulled her decisions. Colleague Baltić, as the president of the OOSP Bar, has excellent cooperation with Active directors from other bar schools and is not a conflicted personality, so we do not understand the need for Mrs. Raković to handle certain situations in the collective like this," the OOSP Bar memo states, among other things.

Raković had no comment for the media yesterday, stating that these are internal school events, and that it is the recommendation of the relevant ministry that it be contacted for any statement.
