Montenegro is ready to be a reliable partner to other countries in the fight against human trafficking, said the national coordinator for the fight against this type of organized crime, Zoran Ulama.
In Brussels, he participated in the meeting of the informal network of national rapporteurs and equivalent mechanisms for combating human trafficking of the European Union (EU).
As announced by the Office for Combating Trafficking in Human Beings, the aim of the meeting is to strengthen cooperation in that area between the representatives of the EU's informal network of national rapporteurs and the network of Southeast European countries.
The strengthening of cooperation is, as announced, possible through the provision of a platform for the exchange of experiences and examples of good practice.
Ulama, as stated, presented to those present the efforts being made in Montenegro in the fight against human trafficking.
He, as stated, indicated "the full readiness of Montenegro to be a reliable partner to all countries in the fight against this form of organized crime."
As stated in the announcement, the meeting is chaired by the EU coordinator for the fight against human trafficking, Miria Vasiliadou.
