The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development invited those interested to apply for the purchase of almost 274.000 cubic meters of wood from burned areas, which is intended for sanitary felling.
The sale of wood pulp will take place on May 5 through public bidding in the regional units of the Forestry Administration in Nikšić (for Nikšić and Danilovgrad), Pljevlja and Berane (for Plav, Kolašin and Berane).
Companies and individuals who pay a deposit and who are registered to perform work in forestry and have no outstanding obligations based on the use of forests for the previous year have the right to bid.
According to the data from the public call, the largest amount of wood damaged in the fire is sold in Pljevlja - as much as 209.572 cubic meters. Interested parties will bid for 15.290 cubic meters in Nikšić, 45.920 cubic meters in Kolašina, 1.400 cubic meters in Danilovgrad, and 1.705 cubic meters in Plav.
The deposit for bidding in Pljevlje, depending on the region and type of forest, will be from 298 to 8.127 euros in Pljevlje, from three to 291 in Nikšić, from 36 to 1.190 in Kolašin, from 104 to 130 in Danilovgrad and from 14 to 220 euros in Plav. The initial price, as stated in the invitation, in Pljevlja will be from 1,3 to 7,4 euros per cubic meter for conifers and from 0,75 to 2,75 euros for hardwoods. For conifers, which are only sold in Plav and Danilovgrad, the starting price is 3,8 and 1,3 euros, respectively. In Kolašin, it is from 2,5 to 4,5 euros for a cubic meter of conifers, and one euro for hardwoods, while in Nikšić, the starting price for conifers is from 1,9 to 4,5 and from 1,5 to two euros for a cubic meter of hardwoods.
