The Chamber of Notaries of Montenegro (NKCG) donated technical equipment worth 2.000 euros to the Day Center for Children and Youth with Developmental Disabilities in Podgorica.
On the occasion of the Montenegrin Notary Day, the president of the Chamber, Branislav Vukićević, presented three plasma TVs, two laptop computers and two DVD players to the Center's acting director, Marina Vujović.
Handing over the donation, Vukićević emphasized the importance of opening such a Center, stressing that in equipping a new institution for children and youth with special needs, other institutions, companies and individuals should follow in the footsteps of notaries.
Vujović stated that she hopes that after this first donation, other companies will show social responsibility like NKCG and that from September the Center will be fully ready to receive the first users.
On behalf of the First Association of Parents of Children and Youth with Special Needs in Podgorica, its president, Savo Knežević, thanked the NKCG, adding that children and youth with developmental disabilities are looking forward to the opening of this first day center in Podgorica.
Today, on the occasion of marking the 4th year of work, all Montenegrin notaries gave free legal advice and informed them about the role of notaries in probate proceedings.
