The 20th anniversary edition of Critical Mass will be held on Saturday, April 25, starting at 12:XNUMX in front of the "Radosav Ljumović" City Library, the NGO Biciklo.me announced. The actual gathering of participants begins an hour earlier on Republic Square.
The participants of the ride will be offered a free bike servicing service by the Tempo service technician.
Biciklo.me will organize a cycling school for beginners called "Daj krug" after the ride.
"We invite all people who do not have the opportunity to ride a bike to come and 'catch a circle' with our activists. With the action 'Give a circle', we want to share the feeling of riding a bicycle with those interested. Those who do not know how to ride bicycles, as well as people who do not ride because they do not feel safe, are especially welcome," the NGO statement said.
Biciklo.me, as part of the Energy Days, which are celebrated from April 21 to 25 under the slogan "Together for energy-sustainable Podgorica", organizes other activities.
On Friday, April 24, starting at 10:00 a.m. at the Faculty of Architecture in Podgorica, a full-day workshop "From Titograd to Cyclograd" will be held on the topic of sustainable urban mobility as a principle of a sustainable city. On this topic, students of the AF Faculty of Architecture and the Faculty of Visual Arts will offer solutions for the arrangement of urban space for cyclists on the planned corridors, the start of construction of which is announced for this year.
Parallel to the workshop, from 16:00 to 22:00 on the same day, a fair will be held in the Delta City shopping center on the occasion of the Energy Days, where the NGO Biciklo.me will present its organization and where interested citizens will be able to become members.
