The Basic Prosecutor's Office in Bar launched an investigation in connection with the case of the company "Melgonija Primorka", following a report by Dževdet Begzić, a representative of the workers in that factory.

We remind you that the Government paid four million euros last year, because it guaranteed the loan that the Bar factory previously requested for modernization. However, Begzić obtained documents that show that the loan was used to repay the debts of other private companies connected to the owner of Primorka, Nebojša Bošković.

Five years since the government guaranteed the loan to Melgonia Primorka with four million euros and one year since the guarantee was collected, the case has reached the basic prosecution in Bar, it was confirmed to us by the Supreme State Prosecutor's Office.

"In Bar, a case was formed based on the application of Begzić Dževdet. In the application, it is stated that the Government gave consent on July 1, 2010 for a loan concluded between NLB Montenegro banka AD Podgorica and the takeover of "Melagonija Primorka" from Bar in the amount of four million euros. allegedly for investment, and that the loan was allegedly used for an inappropriate purpose". said the Prosecutor's Office.

Pensioner and representative of the former employees of Primorka, Dževdet Begzić, came across a document that shows that the largest part of the loan guaranteed by the state was not spent for the bar factory.

"Some of the stories that are in the public eye do not correspond to the truth, as the prime minister did, for example, at one prime minister's hour where he declared that the famous four million, i.e. the guarantee given by the Ministry of Finance, ended up within the legal framework, and the loans given to Melgonij Primorci are actually loans where the property is pledged, and the financial resources went to some completely different companies," said Begzić.

We were previously confirmed by the Ministry of Finance that it was not controlled how the loan for which they guaranteed state money was spent. On the other hand, Begzić claims, based on the documents he came across, that almost two-thirds of the loan was spent to pay back the loans of other companies of the then owner of Megonia, Nebojsa Bošković. The case in the Bar Prosecutor's Office is in the investigation phase.

In the meantime, all 70 or so employees of Primorka, which is now bankrupt, lost their jobs.

"Workers are at the labor office with unpaid wages and unpaid social programs," added Begzić.

While the Assembly is debating whether retired KAP employees are also entitled to severance pay, Primorka's workers, says Beggić, are not helped by more favorable conditions for the retirement of bankrupts because they have not been paid for their seniority. They have no pensions, no severance pay, and all their salaries have not been paid.
