Berane: Scholarships paid to the best students for September and October

The municipality of Berane paid scholarships to the best students for September and October of the 2014/2015 school year.

The office of the president announced that in the previous 11 months, the new local authorities paid out 16 arrears of scholarships and thus settled the arrears for the academic year 2012/13. and 2013/14. years.

"As education and care for young people are a priority of the local government, with accelerated payments we managed to reduce the debts owed to students from the previous 16 to six months in a short period of time. We remind you that the previous administration did not pay a single scholarship for the last five months of its administration, and that the last one was paid in November 2013, for November and December 2012," the announcement states.

She adds that the Municipality of Berane will maintain the dynamics of scholarship payments "trying to minimize the delay as much as possible within its capabilities and limited budget".
