The President of the Municipality of Rožaje Ejup Nurković and the President of the Assembly Husein Kurtagić sent a telegram of condolence to the citizens and mayor of Novi Pazar, Meh Mahmutović, and to the families of those killed in the crash of the helicopter that was transporting the sick baby.
"We express our regret regarding the tragedy caused by the helicopter crash in which Dr. Dževad Ljajić, Miroslav Veselinović and a five-day-old newborn from the Ademović family lost their lives, as well as members of the Serbian Armed Forces Omer Mehić, Milovan Đukarić, Nebojša Drajić and Ivan Miladinović," the condolence telegram reads. .
"The news about the death of people who died because of their honorable work and calling deeply shook the citizens of our municipality. The solidarity, humanity and charity of the victims will remain remembered in the hearts of all people. We express our condolences to the families of the victims of the Orthodox faith, and we toast the families of the Muslim victims. We ask God may the victims be granted paradise, and their families sabur and patience to deal with the tragedy," the telegram reads.
