Representatives of the student organization School of Business Skills, at the Faculty of Political Sciences of the University of Montenegro (UCG), visited the Assembly today and learned about the functioning of the Parliament.
"Representatives of the school are familiar with the history of the Montenegrin Parliament, its responsibilities and the way it functions, from the beginnings of parliamentarism back in 1906 to the present," the Assembly announced.
The students, as stated, visited the Great Hall where the plenary sessions are held, the White Salon, saw a permanent display of photos of all past presidents of the Assembly, a collection of Montenegrin dynastic coats of arms and some of the works of art in the parliament building.
"UCG students were particularly interested in how many party clubs there are and how many working bodies there are. The first of the two groups of the School of Business Skills that showed interest in visiting the Parliament of Montenegro consisted of 17 students," the announcement says.
The visits are, as stated, part of the Open Parliament project, the aim of which is to bring the institution of the Parliament of Montenegro closer to citizens, primarily young people.
Another group of students will visit the Montenegrin Parliament tomorrow.
