The Administrative Court will decide on Pejović when the lawsuits from 2017 are over.

In March, Pejović filed a lawsuit against the decision of the Agency for the Prevention of Corruption (ASK), which deemed his involvement in the positions of Minister of European Affairs, Chief Negotiator and Ambassador in the Mission in Brussels as a conflict of interest.

The Administrative Court will discuss the lawsuit of the former Minister of European Affairs, Aleksandar Andrija Pejović, after resolving all the cases from 2017, according to the court.

In March, Pejović filed a lawsuit against the decision of the Agency for the Prevention of Corruption (ASK), which assessed his involvement in the positions of Minister of European Affairs, Chief Negotiator and Ambassador in the Mission in Brussels as a conflict of interest.

"In this particular case, we take into account the interest of the public in the mentioned case, as well as its importance, but also the rules prescribed by the Rules of Court, which prescribe the obligation to resolve cases in the order of receipt, and the fact that cases from 2017 have priority in resolution. Here, it is important to point out that in this specific case no urgency was filed to speed up the resolution of the case. Appreciating all of the above, the case will be processed in the order of receipt", the Administrative Court answered the question of "Vijesti" when they will discuss Pejović's lawsuit.

On February 19, the KAS established that Pejović, as a public official, violated the Law on Prevention of Corruption, because, contrary to the Constitution of Montenegro, he simultaneously had the status of ambassador. After that, Pejović resigned, and the Government abolished the Ministry of European Affairs.
