The construction of a multi-storey business-residential complex near the roundabout and the business center "TQ Plaza" in Budva, whose investor is the company "Toškovići", has been put on hold.

The ban on construction came about because the company from Podgorica, which had several joint ventures with the company of the Prime Minister's son Blaž Đukanović, did not settle the utilities towards the Municipality of Budva, and did not pay the compensation to JP "Regionalni Vodvodsk".

The Budva Secretariat for Spatial Planning and Sustainable Development stopped the process of issuing a building permit in mid-December last year because, as stated in the explanation, "there is no evidence of the arrangement of the relationship regarding the payment of the fee for the development of the construction land and evidence of the payment of the fee for the construction of the regional water supply system ".

The plot on which the complex will be built was bought by the company "Planet".

In the meantime, the construction operations of the "Toškovići" company, owned by businessman Ivica Tošković, demolished an old one-story stone house, one of the most beautiful in this urban area.

In the Communal Police "Vijesti" it was confirmed that "Toškovići" have a demolition permit, which was issued back in 2010 by the then department, now the Ministry of Sustainable Development.

The demolition permit was issued in the name of the company "Planet DOO" - Podgorica, whose name is registered in the cadastral records of the Real Estate Administration, according to the latest data, for a plot of 1200 square meters and a one-story family building of 122 square meters.

The company "Planet" was founded by construction businessmen Dejan Stojović and Ljubiša Šestović, who is also the current minister of sustainable development and tourism, Branimir Gvozdenović.

Last year, Šestović left the company, in which he had a third of the capital, and it is now one hundred percent owned by Dejan Stojović. Stojović and Šestović are also known for the construction success of their other company "Pržno", which built the luxury apartment complex "Emerald Bay" opposite the hotel "Maestral" in the coastal town of the same name. Šestović also retired from this company.

According to the cadastral records, the plot in Budva was under the credit of "Planet" at Hipo Alpe Adria Bank, in the name of two credit lines totaling one and a half million euros. At the beginning of October, the bank initiated the mortgage and the collection of receivables, so that at the beginning of November, "Planet" concluded a joint construction contract with the company "Toškovići".

"Planet" traded its attractive property in Budva seven years ago, at the time of the biggest buying and selling fever, and major construction projects in that city.

DUP predicts seven floors

At the time when "Planet" bought a plot of land in the center of Budva, the development of the contested planning document of the DUP "Budva centar", which urbanized the most attractive part of the city from "Avala" to Zavala, was being completed.

However, all the previous years, the plot and the old stone villa, which was built by a former sailor from the old town, stood empty.

On the "Planeta" plot, the recommended, but not binding, number of floors is the ground floor and seven floors, but depending on the occupation of the plot, the investor can go for a floor or a few more in the sky.

Business in to the consortium with BB solar

The company "Toškovići" became interesting in the media last year, when it was announced that within the consortium with Blaž Đukanović's company "BB solar" and "Televex" it was engaged in the installation of photovoltaic panels at the UN Eco building in Podgorica.

In September of last year, "Monitor" published a list of companies that, based on the records of the Public Procurement Administration, had the most million-dollar jobs that they received from the state and local governments. In fourth place, for the second year in a row, are "Toškovići", who in 2014 had contracts with the state worth 5.261.516,15 euros. During 2012, "Toškovići" was only in 17th place with 2.202.895 euros.

The work in Budva is now on hold, and only after the building permit is published will it be known exactly how many floors their commercial-residential complex will have.
