The ultra-luxurious 96-meter-long superyacht "Palladium" sailed into the Porto Montenegro marina in Tivat this morning.
The ship flying the flag of the Cayman Islands will stay in Tivat's elite marina for six weeks.
This ultra-luxurious boat for pleasure serves as many as 40 crew members who will explore Montenegro and enjoy its beauty for a week or so, while the yacht is in Porto Montenegro.
"Palladium" belongs to Russian financial oligarch Mikhail Prokhorov, head of "Onexim Bank", whose personal wealth is estimated at more than 13 billion dollars.
"Palladium" with its almost 4.500 gross tons is the size of a smaller passenger ship, and the yacht is characterized by an unusual futuristic exterior design, especially the sides of the ship, built in 2010 in the renowned German shipyard "Blohm + Voss" from Hamburg.
This steel-aluminum floating palace was built according to the project of designer Michael Leach. Two MTU diesel engines give her a top speed of 19 knots, and despite being an almost 100-meter vessel, Palladium has a capacity of only 16 passengers in six ultra-luxurious cabins plus one huge owner's suite.
According to specialized websites, "Palladium" is characterized by a special painting scheme and "curves" on the hull inspired by the forms of the killer whale, so this yacht, before it was officially baptized, was known in the yachting industry under the working name "Project Orca". .
