The facade in Ulica slobode at number 59 will finally be repaired - four years after pieces were blown off by a strong wind.
Parts of the facade were broken off on December 2010, XNUMX, and fortunately the large pieces did not injure anyone when they fell on the sidewalk in front of the building.
Since then, nothing has been done to rehabilitate, the Capital City previously explained that the Assembly of Apartment Owners was not formed in that entrance and that the tenants do not pay for maintenance.
The facade will be rehabilitated as part of the action "For a more beautiful face of Podgorica", which is carried out by the Housing Agency.
Mirjana Petrović, who lives in that entrance, believes that it was high time to build the disputed facade.
"I'm constantly entering from the back, fearing that it won't fall, I hope that they will finally solve that problem," Petrović said.
The Director of the Agency, Vladimir Tomović, previously told "Vijesta" that they have started the works as part of the action, but that he cannot specify when they will finish due to changing weather conditions.
"If it was summer, I could tell you the deadline and maybe I would be wrong in five or six days, but I don't want to deal with guesswork like this," said Tomović at the time.
He pointed out that not all facades will be whitewashed at once, but that they will be renovated building by building, on both sides of the street, together with the courtyard area.
Last Sunday, Agency workers started erecting scaffolding on the building at Ulica Slobode No. 64, and Tomović said that they would work on one or two buildings at a time.
In addition to the Agency, the holders of the action are the Secretariat for Communal Affairs and Traffic, the Secretariat for Planning and Spatial Planning, and the works will cost around 190.000 euros.
