Due to the lack of reagents in the laboratory of the Pljeval hospital, it is not possible to extract the findings, so citizens are forced to use the services of private laboratories.

The director of the Pljevlja General Hospital, Zoran Tabaš, said that the problem will soon be temporarily solved.

"The negotiation process with the supplier has been completed. Contracts have been signed and reagents will arrive, but not in sufficient quantities. The problem is with the tenders of the Healthcare Fund, which fail, and not only ours, but all hospitals in Montenegro are in trouble. We are forced to negotiate with suppliers ourselves, as the Pljevlja General Hospital, to procure reagents ourselves, which is a big problem, said Tabaš.

He hopes that the problem with tenders will be solved soon, because it is increasingly difficult to obtain the necessary drugs, reagents and equipment, and most suppliers ask for payment in advance.

The hospital has no money for servicing, and currently on that basis it owes about 78.000 euros, 34.000 for last year, and 44.000 for this year.

The Director of the Hospital expects that the scanner will be in use very soon.
