The NGO coalition "Cooperation to the goal" asked the Assembly to annul the Proposal for the list for the appointment of two members of the Council of the Agency for Electronic Media (AEM), because "candidate Darko Ivanović cannot be appointed because he is the owner of a legal entity engaged in the production of television program".
Đurović said that the law forbids the author of the show "Robin Hood", which is broadcast on RTCG, to join the Council of AEM because it says that they cannot be "owners of shares, shareholders, members of management bodies, employees, persons under contract and the like , who have an interest" in TV program broadcasters.
"The commercial company 'Agencija media n-gage', which is owned by Ivanovic, produces, in co-production with RTCG, the show 'Robin Hood', which is probably known to the members of parliament," said Đurović.
Ivanovic: Starts a chase because I am myself
Ivanovic said yesterday that Đurović "artificially creates affairs" and that there is no question of a conflict of interest. "Both the position and the opposition voted for me. I neither work for RTCG nor produce the program.
Such engagement was achieved at the request of the same Đurović. In order for my show to exist, I, as an independent author, had to have a legal framework for cooperation with RTCG.
I found him in the NGO sector, and it was the NGO that signed the contract, until the intervention of Đurović and the termination of the contract. That did not suit Đurović and I had to transfer my rights as an author, not a producer nor a broadcaster, to the agency by force of circumstances, because Đurović's animosity towards the existence of a part of the NGO sector that he cannot control has long been known".
Ivanović said that Đurović was not satisfied with the advocacy of part of the civil sector to regulate the selection of NGO representatives in bodies formed by the Government differently: "Now that his candidate is not passing, he is starting an unreasonable chase after me".
