The court takes away his child again: I did not kidnap my daughter

Zoran Savićević from Bar is outraged at the state authorities that, as he points out, are helping the second kidnapping of his child, "and they did not prevent the first kidnapping two and a half years ago".

Indicating that he has been asking the state for help since June 2012, Savićević told "Vijesta" that he cannot understand that he and his three-year-old daughter, as Montenegrin citizens, "don't have any protection from Montenegro".

After the end of the common-law union, Savićević's unmarried wife took their daughter to Serbia in June 2012, and he brought his daughter to Bar at the end of October.

"I did not abduct the child, but took it from the mother and brought it home to Bar, to the address where she still lives. For three years, I couldn't be with her to celebrate her birthday, I saw her these two and a half years only for an hour or two, as long as the hearing lasted in the court in Inđija," says the resigned Savićević.

He is revolted by the indolence of the judicial authorities of Serbia, where he was recently allowed to take the child over the weekend, but only on the condition that he be with his daughter in Smederevska Palanka, where his sister lives.

"I also note that my unmarried wife took my daughter and left Bar without any announcement, and that she still entered her in the book of births in Serbia," said Savićević.

When he came to Bar with his daughter on October 20, he immediately informed the police and the consulate of Montenegro in Belgrade, which, he says, was informed about the whole situation.

In the meantime, the court from Inđija intervened, the Center for Social Work in Bar was informed, and the Basic Court in Bar pronounced a decision on the forced adoption of the child.

Savićević now waits every hour for someone to knock on his door and ask him to hand over the child. He does not accept that, he informed the ombudsman, the relevant ministries.

His wife's lawyer Snežana Kalezić stated before the bar court that "the child has lost weight and is endangered".

"I immediately took my daughter to the doctor to have her examined and measured, and everything was fine," Savićević said.

Kosanić: The child was kidnapped

"Before the Court of First Instance, the enforcement procedure of handing over the child to the mother, Danijela Aleksić, who lives in Serbia, is ongoing, and the child was assigned by a decision on a temporary measure of the court of Stara Pazova, before which the divorce proceedings are pending. On the basis of that decision and the report of the Center for Social Work, the court in Bar made a decision that the child should be taken away because psychophysical development is at risk due to being taken away from the mother.
