KCCG documentation archived in the old Medical School building

While Montenegro was shaken by the affair surrounding the death of a baby in the Clinical Center (KCCG), the complete medical documentation of patients treated in almost all departments was removed from that institution.

"Vijesti" interlocutors from KCCG claim that on the orders of director Milan Mijović, the documentation was transferred to the premises of the old medical school. They could not confirm whether the sudden transfer of documents has a direct connection with the infection of the babies.

"We don't know why the paperwork was transferred there, but we know that until the public found out about the infection of the babies, it was in the wards. How much they took care of it is shown by the fact that some of it was even in the corridors, untidy. Does that have anything to do with it? with the overall situation, we do not know if they are afraid that someone - the prosecutor or the police - will not ask for something from the documentation on the treatment of other patients, or if they have hidden it for some other reason", said one of the interlocutors.

He claims that the "paperwork", which includes reports on the health status of the patients, the therapy they received, the treatment process... was transported for days.

"Documentation was transferred from all departments, first from gynecology, then surgery, physical...", he said.

Yesterday, the KCCG did not answer questions about where and under what conditions the medical documentation was kept until now, whether it is true that part of it was also in the corridors of the department, when and by whose order it was moved...
