The mayors of Budva, Lazar Rađenović, and Vrnjačka Banja, Boban Đurović, signed an agreement today, which, as announced, opens up space for cooperation in several areas.
Đurović said that the agreement crowned the long-term cooperation between the two municipalities, which he described as the two most developed tourist centers in their countries.
"This agreement is based on historical facts, but also on two tourist centers that, with this agreement, not only expand their circle of cooperation, but a large part is given on the exchange of experiences, where these two municipalities should cooperate on some international projects in the future. There is also an exchange of experiences from all areas, economy, tourism and culture, where we want to mediate and be co-organizers of future events in Vrnjačka Banja and Budva, to participate in the exchange of businessmen of the two cities, sports clubs and school and preschool children," he said. is Đurović.
Rađenović assessed that there is room for cooperation between Budva and Vrnjačka Banja There is a lot.
"We are thinking about some future steps of cooperation, but also some joint manifestations and joint appearances on third markets. I think that the strength of our destinations is growing year by year on the international level, and I believe that we already have the credit to plead with those who can from further afield to attract a certain clientele. For such a thing, the space of one city, even one country, is not enough, but a unified package of offers must be created, which would be sufficiently inspiring for the arrival of tourists from the Far East," stated Radjenović.
He said that he is sure of the correctness of the signed agreement, which "is woven into the note of traditionally good relations, fraternal ties with our friends in Serbia, especially in Vrnjačka Banja".
"I am convinced that by cooperating in the future we will achieve useful things for the citizens of Budva and the citizens of Vrnjačka Banja," said Rađenović.
